BluetoothFlirt ist a Mobile Flirt Application. It supports the following features:
At first the user enters his profile (nickname, age, length, sports, music, location etc.) and datas of his desired partner (min-age, max-age, gender). Also he can make a snapshot of himself with the integrated digital cam. After that he has only to activate the flirt modus and wait.
Now the mobile is permanently searching in the surrounding for potential flirt partners. When detecting somebody BluetoothFlirt informs the user by a ring tone and calculates a flirtfactor (in %) based on the profiles of both flirt partners and submits the picture of the other mobile. The detected profile can be safted permanently.
Afterwards it is possible to chat via Bluetooth (10-30 m) or - if the distance grows - via GPRS (with costs).
The project depends on Java J2ME MIDP 2.0 inclusive diverse JSRs to minimize the work, which is necessary to run the software on a great amount of mobiles in future. This is an important requirement for the success of the project.
So the mobiles have to achieve the following specifications:
At begin of programming 2 mobiles achieved this requirements: Nokia 6600, which we used for testing and Sony-Ericsson P900. But this year there are many new mobiles on the way such as Nokia 6230 etc. Nokia has decided to place licences for his 60er series, so the spectrum will grow fast.
